Lessons are scheduled to take place at a mutually convenient time each week, so you can be confident that lessons will fit in with yours and your child’s schedule. Should your schedule change at any point, this can easily be accommodated.

What will you learn?
Lessons primarily focus on working towards ABRSM Practical Music Exams, Grades 1 through to 8. Following the grade system provides a framework for progress that develops technique and general musicianship skills. As well as this, progress can be easily monitored with each new grade achieved.
If you feel taking grades may not be right for your child, then Andy can recommend alternative pathways tailored to your child’s individual needs and interests to ensure progress and success.
With Andy’s guidance, your child will learn to play pieces in a broad range of styles, including classical, jazz, pop, rock, musical theatre and film. With such a broad repertoire to choose from, your child is guaranteed to find something they love.

Piano Lessons for Adults
You are never too old to learn piano! As well as piano lessons for children, Andy also offers piano lessons for adults. Whether you are a complete beginner or are returning to the piano after a time away, piano lessons can be adapted to your needs.
As an adult it can be hard to find time for the things you enjoy. Flexibility is therefore important for any adult undertaking piano lessons. Lessons can be offered either on a weekly or fortnightly basis depending on your schedule, and at a time of day that fits in with your other commitments.
