Lessons primarily focus on working towards ABRSM Practical Music Exams, Grades 1 through to 8. Following the grade system is beneficial as it provides a framework for progress, with a view to improving technique and developing general musicianship skills. As well as this, progress can be easily monitored with each new grade achieved.
Lessons are tailored to your child’s individual needs and interests, so whatever your child’s goals might be, Andy can recommend the right pathway to ensure progress, success, but most of all your child’s enjoyment.
With Andy’s guidance, your child will learn to play pieces in a broad range of styles, including classical, jazz, pop, rock, musical theatre and film. With such a broad repertoire to choose from, your child is guaranteed to find something they love.
